Happy Birthday My Sweet!

I am so excited that yesterday was my sweet girlfriend cat's Purrthday today! Of course her sisfurrs are threw her a wonderful party over on her bloggie, so I wanted to something special for her. So now that the party is over I am whisking the lovely Queen Snickers away for a romantic weekend in Paris!

We'll sight see around Paris, see the Louvre, purrhaps the the Arc de Triomphe...


We'll stop for a late lunch at a romantic Parisian Cafe:


Then we'll drive down to Versailles and tour the beautiful garden and grounds (maybe do a little hunting).


And then of course, a bed fit for a queen (Queen Snickers that is :-)!


I certainly hope that she has a wonderful time!!!!

Happy Halloween!

The reason you're not gonna see any of us today is because we absolutely hate Halloween! Too many kids and noises and knocks on the door - we'll be under then bed till Saturday (and it will still probably take a pound of temptations to get us out)!

Thinking on Thursday

We're thinking that our friend Tesla might be on to something - Mommies might be stoopid! But we think there might be a way for her to make it up (so make sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom!).

Here's why our Mommy is stoopid. Our friends have given us all these cool awards lately, but Mommy didn't remember! She had to go back through the blogs just to find them (at least she was smart enough to do that). And we're fairly certain she missed one or two. But here are the ones we could find...

Okay, so we're not sure what all the rules are, so we're gonna make them up and give them to anykitty we want to!

So the Butterfly Award goes to one and all - we're pretty sure that most kitties have it, but if you don't, you really should!

The Princess Award goes to the finest princesses we know: the honest to goodness royal Princess Pearl, Tesla ('cause she's going to be a princess for Halloween), the lovely Queen Snickers (and we're so happy she's back - just in time for a big birthday bash on Friday) and her sisters Empress and Renna, Josie McKitten-Cat (she may only be a princess in her Daddy's stories, but she's always a princess to us), and the newest little Princess on the block the Little Imp that is invading Chance's house.

And finally the I Love Your Blog award goes to the very pawesome Karen Jo, all those cool Island Cats, our super friends at the Manx Mnews, and the lovely Kellie the Orange Cat!


Alrighty, on to the good news - the part where Mommy makes it up to us!

All the other kitties are getting their Holiday card lists together, and we traded cards last year, and we really enjoyed it. Last year, Mommy made all the cards, and she wants to do it again, but she said that this year we need a "tail count" (so that she can figure out how much stuff to get). Isn't it a pain when you don't get your way? I kept trying to tell Mommy that I wanted to play Wii with her, but she said no - she said I needed thumbs! The nerve!

Friday Funnies

I know that we're all fans of Mutts, but we saw this one last fall and Mommy laughed and laughed (mostly because it's Daddy that's got to worry about where all the leaves go after they fall down). And we love playing in all the fall leaves - fall is definitely one of our favorite seasons.

We loved it so much that Mommy put it in our scrapbook with pictures of us playing in the leaves - and we remembered it and thought all you would enjoy it too!

1. How many calenders are in your home?
Ok, I didn't know what a calendar was, but Catzee had a picture - so now I know what it is (it's one of those things that Mommies keep up on the wall to tell them when it's our birthdays and gotcha days). And we have two - one of which has a bunch of pictures of all of us (the other has pictures of shoes, which Mommy likes almost as much as us).

2. What is your fave season?
Probably Spring, but maybe Summer or it could be Fall - but it's definitely not Winter! They all have so many good things (well except for Winter, like I said, definitely not Winter).

3. What is your lucky number?
Um, I'm not sure I have one so I'll pick one. Let's make it.................. 3! 'Cause when Mommy and Daddy got me it was so that they could have three kitties, they said they needed three kitties for the house to feel right and I was the new three!

4. What is your fave month?
January - that's the month that I was Gotcha'd. Mommy and Daddy drove an hour and a half after a blizzard just to get me!

5. Which do you like best, Planting seeds, Climbing trees, Jumping into a pile of leafs, or, building igloos?
Oh, that's easy - climbing trees, I love to do that!

Tortie Tuesday

I don't mean to complain (much) but do you all realize that I'm still behind? Both Bert and Jake have more posts than me and I didn't really get to post last week at all!


So, I'm outta here - I think I'll head down to Dante's for a while where I'm appreciated (plus I might have accidentally given him a concussion yesterday with the picture of my 'tocks - so I should go nurse him back to health :-)! Is that ok Dante?

Till We Meet Again

Our friend Tiki was helped across the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. We're sure that his brothers, sisters and Mommy are all furry sad. We know that Tiki fought as long as he could, but we'll all miss him so much.

Thursday Thirteen #17

It's been a while since we've done a Thursday Thirteen - so we thought that we'd do one! This week we've got Thirteen things we love about Fall.

1. Cooler Evenings - with all our floof (well, not Bert) we don't get so hot sitting outside.


2. Rainy Days - there's nothing like curling up in a kitty cup and watch the rain come down.


3. Rainy Nights - rainy days get better at night, when we stay in and snuggle with Mommy and Daddy.


4. Down Lap Quilts - we've got two of them, one for Mommy and one for Daddy. They are so snuggly and warm, and we love sleeping on them during the day.


5. The Down Comforter on the Big Bed - with the cooler nights, Mommy always brings out the big fluffy comforter on the bed.


6. The Hot Air Blow-y Boxes - we love it when we can sit next to the boxes in the wall and the hot air blows out.


7. Our Kitty Cups - most of summer our fuzzy kitty beds are a bit too warm, once the temperatures start coming down we love curling up in them.


8. Falling Leaves - we know our Daddy hates them, but we love playing in them!


9. Acorns - Daddy hates them too, but we have a great game with Mommy where she tosses them down the lawn and we chase them.


10. Sleepy Animals - some of our little fuzzy snacks friends get a little slower this time of year, which means we can still bring Mommy great presents.


11. Going Under Cover - no, not like a spy! When it gets cool out we all love to dig in the covers and curl up under the blankets in the big bed.


12. Weekends - with the end of the warm weather, it means that Mommy and Daddy stay home more weekends with us.


13. Fires in the Fireplace - we saved the best for last, we love sitting in the living room and warming our toes and tummies by the fire.

Marvelous ManCat Monday

No this isn't about Bert and Jake, this is way better! This is about the bestest Boyfriend ManCat ever - my sweet Dante! He sent me a wonderful package for my birthday. It arrived just before Mommy and Daddy left to go to Catifornia, but I convinced them to let me open it before they left so that I had things to play with while they were gone.

Blogaversary!

Wow wee - it's been a whole year since we started blogging! We had originally been planning a big party, but since Mommy and Daddy only just got back from Catifornia we haven't really had time to plan anything. And, well, we're just happy to have them home that we'd just rather hang out with them.

The way we would like to celebrate is by saying thank you, thank you one and all for the wonderful support. Again we are overwhelmed by the kindness, love and compassion that we've been shown by all you kitties in the Cat Blogosphere! We'll do our best to get by and visit all the wonderful kitties that stop and left lovely thoughts about our Granddaddy - but it's going to take a bit, since there were so very many of you.

As we said, Mommy and Daddy just got back today, but we're all hoping that things will start to get back to normal soon and we'll be back to blogness as usual.
