Woofie Wednesday

George was trying to steal my sunbeam (and the heater vent too) again - but I figured maybe we could share it after all!

I know it's crazy, but I sure do love my dog!

Tuxie and Terrier Tuesday

Mommy has been after me to trim my claws for a while. I suppose they've been getting a bit long, but I didn't really think they were that bad. Then I got them caught in the rug, and then on the bedspread, and then...

Yep, then I got them clipped.

Meow Like a Pirate Day

Ahoy, me Hearties! We have signed aboard the Black Furrball as deckhands for today's mission! So we are off to join our shipmates and set sail.

If you're worried that there's not enough room aboard the Black Furrball, George has readied her sail boat the George and she, Bert and the woofies (of course George's first mate Beaux) will sail along side the Black Furrball in their adventure!

So let's weigh anchor and hoist the mizzen!

Finally Friday

We're so happy that it's the weekend! It's been a long and busy week and we're ready to put our feet up and relax.

But first we have a rescue mission! Captain Jack is getting the Black Furrball ready to sail to Florida to rescue the beautiful Lady Boo and all of our Florida Furriends.

So we're all getting loaded onto George's new sailboat (Daddy found it for her during the sailboat races last month - we're a bit jealous). We're going to back up the Black Furrball to pick up all the kitties and woofies that need rescuing! And of course we need to pick up George's new First Mate Beaux :-)

Who's with us?!

- Pearl, Bert and Jake

P.S. Have you kitties met Harry yet? He's a cool little friend of Milo's (and you know how Mommy feels about ginger boys!). Look at the beautiful get well card that his Mommy made for me:

Practical Thursday Part Five

Time for another installment of Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats! This week we have a dangerous duo, we hope you enjoy their adventures!

(Also please don't forget that today is George's Third Birthday! We hijacked her bloggie and have a super great party going on over there!)

MUNGOJERRIE AND RUMPELTEAZER
Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer were a very notorious couple
      of cats.
As knockabout clowns, quick-change comedians, tight-rope
      walkers and acrobats
They had an extensive reputation. They made their home in
      Victoria Grove-
That was merely their centre of operation, for they were
      incurably given to rove.
They were very well known in Cornwall Gardens, in
Launceston Place and in Kensington Square -
They had really a little more reputation than a couple of cats
      can very well bear.

If the area window was found ajar
And the basement looked like a field of war,
If a tile or two came loose on the roof,
Which presently ceased to be waterproof,
If the drawers were pulled out from the bedroom chests,
And you couldn't find one of your winter vests,
Or after supper one of the girls
      Suddenly missed her Woolworth pearls:
Then the family would say : 'It's that horrible cat!
It was Mungojerrie-or Rumpelteazer!'-And most of the time
      they left it at that.

Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer has a very unusual gift of the
      gab.
They were highly efficient cat-burglars as well, and remarkably
      smart as a smash-and-grab.
They made their home in Victoria Grove. They had no regular
      occupation.
They were plausible fellows, and like to engage a friendly
      policeman in conversation.

When the family assembled for Sunday dinner,
With their minds made up that they wouldn't get thinner
On Argentine joint, potatoes and greens,
And the cook would appear from behind the scenes
And say in a voice that was broken with sorrow:
'I'm afraid you must wait and have dinner tomorrow!
For the joint has gone from the oven-like that !'
Then the family would say : 'It's that horrible cat!
It was Mungojerrie-or Rumpelteazer!'-And most of the time
      they left it at that.

Mungojerrie and Rumpelteazer had a wonderful way of
      working together.
And some of the time you would say it was luck, and some of
the time you would say it was weather.
They would go through the house like a hurricane, and no
sober person could take his oath
Was it Mungojerrie-or Rumpelteazer? or could you have
sworn that it mightn't be both?

And when you heard a dining-room smash
Or up from the pantry there came a loud crash
Or down from the library came a loud ping
From a vase which was commonly said to be Ming-
Then the family would say:'Now which was which cat?
It was Mungojerrie! AND Rumpelteazer!'-And there's nothing
at all to be done about that!

Terrier, Um, No Tuxie Tuesday

Hey George, it's Tuesday, is your post ready?

George? HEY GEORGE?!!!!

Jake, Pearl, have you guys seen George, she's supposed to post her Terrier Tuesday post, and I can't find her anywhere.

Have any of you kitties seen George?

Hey Bertie, I helped George get her own bloggie, so she doesn't have to share yours anymore. And this way she can hang out with all her puppy friends. She already went to a big party with Asta.

Jeesh Mommy, why didn't you tell me before! I should go visit her, any of you other kitties want to go visit her too?!

Terrier Terror Tuesday

Jake: George, look what you did to my spiffy new birthday toy!

George: It's not my fault, it was in my room! Mommy says that if you guys leave your toys in my room that it's not my fault.

Jake: Well I didn't leave it in there, I don't even go in your room unless Daddy it in there.

George: Well, it was there, so I did what I do - sorry!

Jake: Sheesh, what is it with sisters lately!

Wordy Wednesday

We've got lots and lots to say today, first of all we got tagged for the 6 Word Memoir by our super defender friend Tesla.

1) Write your own six word memoir.
2) Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you’d like.
3) Link to the person that tagged you in your post, and to the original post if possible so we can track it as it travels across the blogosphere.
4) Tag at least five more blogs with links.
5) Don’t forget to leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play.
6) Have fun!!

So, here it goes...

Pearl:
Tortie princess loves playing and hunting.

Bert:
Quiet but speedy Tuxedo sleeps high-up.

Jake:
Floofy ManCat loves to lounge about.

We're pretty sure that most everyone has done this meme, but consider yourself tagged if you haven't!

Then we thought it would be funny to find our what kind of celebrities we would all be...

Pearl:
What celebrity would your pet be? I'm Paris Hilton! Find out at Catster.com

Bert:
What celebrity would your pet be? I'm Will Smith! Find out at Catster.com

Jake:
What celebrity would your pet be? I'm Al Gore! Find out at Catster.com

George:
What celebrity would your pet be? I'm Madonna! Find out at Dogster.com

And most importantly, we're all purring and purraying for our friends Storm, who's lymphoma has returned. The good news is that she fought last time and won the battle, the bad news is that the war is not over and she has to fight again.

We're purring soooo very hard for her. This horrible disease has taken too many kitties, including our big sister and brother. So let's all purr and give Storm the strength to beat this awful thing!

We're also purring for Moki's brother Orange Boy, he got the bitey from a rattle snake! The good news is that he seems to be healing, but he still needs your purrs.

Catching Up

The kitties said that we've been getting behind in a few things, so they said I could take care of the catching up (especially since I get to do a meme!)...

A while ago the very talented Diamond and her Bean made these really cool digital scrapbook pages for us:

Diamond's Bean is very good at the digital scrapbooking and has done many other kitties and woofies, we're so proud to be part of her amazing artwork!

Also, Criz was kind enough to make this badge for us, just for being worried and purring (well I woofed) for Mama Jessica! We were ever so worried for her (a family needs a Mama), but now she's back and everything is better.

And finally, the superest White Dawg around has tagged me for a meme, here are the rules:

1) Write your own six word memoir.
2) Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you’d like.
3) Link to the person that tagged you in your post, and to the original post if possible so we can track it as it travels across the blogosphere.
4) Tag at least five more blogs with links.
5) Don’t forget to leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play.
6) Have fun!!

Oh I'm so excited - I've never done a meme, I think - wait what's a meme? Oh right, focus - six words...

Terrier terror who loves her family!

I'd like to tag my friends Asta, Hershey & Kaci, Cami and her kitties, Diamond Dog and Diamond Emerald Eyes !

Finally Friday #3

Mommy says that we've been looking for the weekend all week long, but I think I may have found it...

Oh, you're looking forward to the weekend, oh that's different. Well, then I'll stop looking for it, maybe I'll just look for the woodchuck instead!

Thursday Thirteen #15 - The Things We Do For Love

Every once and a while we don't get the love we need and deserve. I know it seems crazy, but sometimes Mommy and Daddy get too "busy" and we need to demand some love! So today we thought we would share some of the things we do to get love and attention.

1. Yell at Mommy or Daddy like a baby Pterodactyl - Jake (also works at breakfast or dinner)

2. Lay down and then put my floofy tail and pants in the air - Pearl

3. Drop a toy in a lap, then crawling up to "get it" - George

4. Dig under the covers - Jake

5. Sit on the ottoman and stare at Mommy - Bert

6. Headbutt legs, shoulders, what ever I can find - Jake

7. Put the lickey/bittey on Mommy or Daddy's fingers - Pearl

8. "Knead Dough" on Daddy - Jake

9. Whine and look sad until I'm invited up on a lap - George

10. Slink up to the big bed, and snuggle with Mommy - Bert

11. Burrow behind Mommy and dig into her shirt - Pearl

12. Sit and chirp at Mommy - Bert

13. Sit and make blinky eyes at who ever is looking (guaranteed to get you picked up and snuggled!) - Pearl, Bert or Jake

What do you kitties do for love?

-Pearl, Bert, Jake and George

Make A Wish

My sweet Queen Snicker's tagged us for this meme. The hard thing was coming up with only one wish...

The Rules:
1. Think about what it is that you want more than anything, what your heart’s desire and fondest wish is, and what it is that you would wish for if you were to see the above wishing star flame across the night sky.
2. Right click and SAVE the blank graphic below.
3. Use a graphics program of your choice and place your wish on this picture:

4. Post the Make A Wish Meme and your wishing star on your blog along with these rules.
5. Tag as many people as you like so that there can be wishing stars all across the Blogosphere and ask them to please link back to Linda so that we can see what wishes others have made and share those wishes with others.

We decided to pass this on to our newer friends (not that we don't love our older bloggie friends!):
Princess Pearl
Meg & Jack
JB
and George's new friends The Two New England Schnauzers

Wordy Wednesday

I feel like we need to explain a bit... I don't want my darling Tazo mad at me, or Asta for that matter!

While I am an attack tuxie when it comes to birds, mice, chipmunks and Pearl - I did not actually attack my Georgie!

I realized that all the kitties and puppies think that I pounced her just for fun, but it's actually one of the pre-nap games that we play. I usually walk on her or pounce her, then after a bit of head wrestling (that's her trying to get my head in her mouth and Mommy yelling at us), we snuggle down for a nice nap!

This how we looked a few minutes after we got done playing. So you can see that I really do love my woofie sister and she doesn't really mind the pounces!

Also, there's been a change on our last auction. Apparently Pepper's website is no longer taking donations, so we will be donating the funds from the auction to Lilly Lu.

Tuxie and Terrier Tuesday #2

Heh, heh, heh - George doesn't know it yet, but I'm about to pounce on her and steal her toy...

It's good to be a kitty!

Woofie Wednesday

Umm, I'm going to need a little help here. Someone buried my basket ball in the snow - I don't know who or how, but it's really stuck!

No really, I'm going to need a little help...

In other news, Bert's darling Mc Tazo gave us a cool award!

We'd like to pass it on to:
Sir Dante and Captain Jack
Chancy and Jake
Goldie and Shade

Woofie Wednesday

Hi everykitty (and woofie), it's me George! The kitties said I could take over the blog today for a woofie Wednesday! I'm so excited that I don't even know where to start! Oh, Bert says I should do a meme so you can all learn a bit more about me, and Java tagged us for a meme a couple of days ago - so that works well (hope you don't mind that I'm taking over the meme Java?!).

Here are the rules: You have to post who tagged you and link back to them and then to Petspix. Then you have to tag 3 other kitties, beans, woofies, or any other assorted animal. What three things would you do that you have never done before, if you knew you wouldn't get caught, get in trouble, or suffer any consequences?

1. I would run all around the house, get into all the trash cans, on to all the counters and generally tear apart the house to the best of my ability (since I'm still a bit destructive I'm only allowed in two rooms when Mommy and Daddy aren't home).

2. I would get out of the fenced in part of the yard and run all the way to the river and back - and over on the neighbors lawn and sniff the bushes where the wood chucks live and I would find the bunny that taunts me - and wreak havoc on all the woodland creatures that live by our house!

3. I would chew and eat and chew and eat - whatever I could get my mouth on, even if it wasn't food. I love to chew anything or eat anything!

Boy, just thinking about it sounds like fun...

I don't have a lot of blogging friends yet, but I'd like to tag:

Asta
Princess Pearl (nope, not my sister - there's another one!)
and Vincent & Mike (cause Mike is a girl with a boy's name like me!)

Thanks kitties - see you next week!
George
