Mommy's Home!!!!!

Wait, Jake! Do you see that? See that plane up there?! Mommy is on that plane - she's finally coming home!!!!

Yep, Mommy is finally coming home from her really, really long trip to Catifornia. And just in time for my Gotcha Day (even though she missed Pearl's Gotcha Day and My Birthday)!

She said that we shouldn't get our hopes up about blogging - sure we told her all about how it's been more than 8 months since we've been able to blog and visit our friends. But with Mommy losing her job and our Grandma out in Catifornia still being sick she's afraid that she'll still be too busy to help us. But we're crossing our paws that we'll get to visit soon.

We appreciate all the visits and thoughts since we've been gone - and Mommy promises to at least visit a little bit (especially our special kitty friends, I sure do miss my sweet little tea cup Tazo)!

Mommy missed my Gotcha Day! She so completely missed it that she had to be reminded by the Cat Blogosphere and all the lovely comments from Saturday! Pearl and Bert kept trying to tell her, but she was just so "bizzy" that she wasn't paying any attention!

There is a spot of good news though, to make up for it I got extra breakfast the last two morning and extra treats. And Mommy has promised that I can have any new toy that I want. So I think I'll just sit here and figure out what toy I want and other ways that she and Daddy can make this up to me.

ManCat Monday

I just wanted to thank every kitty (and woofie, beans, heck efurryone!) that came to my party! It was a great day, and a wonderful weekend - lots of cuddles and treats, just the way to really celebrate a birthday.



Mommy promises to help me stop by and visit everyone that came to the party, but it might take a bit!

I'm thinking I must have mis-heard Mommy, she couldn't possibly be leaving us again!


It is just a long weekend and Daddy will be staying home with us, but still - we're a bit hissed off!

She says she's going to visit some Mouse in Los Angeles, so she'd better bring us something good like George and the Crew got!

Oh we almost forgot - Gung Hey Fat Choy! Happy Chinese New Year! And Happy Year of the Ox (our Daddy is an Ox - in the Chinese zodiac sense that is ;-)

p.s. I have an update - I did have to go to the V-E-T, but he was fairly nice and only gave me one shot of steroids. He thinks it's probably stress too, but the steroids could make me feel better and if it's an allergy then the shot will definitely make me feel better. So, no e-collar or onesie yet, but I'm still under a "grooming" watch.

No matter how much of the suitcase I tried to take up they still left! Can you believe that?!


And now there's so much snow that the pre-teen beans are having trouble getting to feed me. They made it just in time, but sheesh - the things an abandoned ManCat has to put up with!

So to show our displeasure, we're going to be throwing a House Trashing Party Starting RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!! So come on in and trash away, the blinds are perfect for climbing and this sofa over here needs some extra claw marks! And when we're all done, we can all head over to the Hotties' Chrissymouse Eve Party on the CB!

We'll have a great time and make Mommy and Daddy jealous that they had to go to Catifornia!

Whew - it was a busy weekend around here! Mommy spent the whole weekend getting the holiday cards done, so of course she needed a lot of snoopervising. And all that work made me tired.


So that leads us to todays rule - If your Mommy makes you work really hard all weekend it's ok to spend all of Monday napping.

Mini-Spa Monday

Mommy has been really tired lately, and feeling like she needs some time to relax. So Daddy suggested that she spend the weekend chilling out and taking care of herself.

So she did, she lit lots of candles, and had a relaxing shower, she did her nails and her toes, she sat and read a book next to the fire - she even had some time to cuddle up with us. We were having a really great weekend until Mommy decided that we should have a mini-spa day too!

We all got Mani-Pedi, we all got furminated, we all got our ears washed out and I got my teeth brushed! Man are we hissed off now - I'm not sure if there are enough temptations to get us over this on!

Marvelous ManCat Monday

No this isn't about Bert and Jake, this is way better! This is about the bestest Boyfriend ManCat ever - my sweet Dante! He sent me a wonderful package for my birthday. It arrived just before Mommy and Daddy left to go to Catifornia, but I convinced them to let me open it before they left so that I had things to play with while they were gone.

Hmm, what's in here - it sure smells good

Cool, look at all these toys!

Oh, and a special warming mat, looks so cozy!

And a lovely card too (it's quite nice to sit on too)!

Wo-ManCat Rule Monday/ Not the Mama Monday

Last week the boys had a very good Mancat rule - but the only reason that it was a ManCat rule was because I missed out on getting into the basket of nip. They never told me that Mommy left the basket down!

So I'm taking over again!

So, today's Wo-ManCat Rule:

If it's a hot day, find a nice wet spot of patio to stretch out, relax and keep yourself cool.

Were a bit late adding this (since Mommy had this on auto-post), but of course we'd like to join in Not the Mama Monday. Because Mo truly does rock! We think all the things he does for kitties in his area and on the CB is amazing - if there were more people like him the world would be a much better place!
