We're not completely sure what this is - it's the first time we've ever seen anything like it!
It's tall and sparkly and covered with jingle bells (and other cool stuff). Mommy got it out of a box and then put a bunch more sparkly, jingly things on it. There are even some fuzzy ones that remind us of our toys - but Mommy put them way up high out of our reach.
Jake says it's a Christmas Tree - he said we used to have them in California, but they never came from a box. He says that he and Purdy and Basil would help by playing with the lights as Mommy put them on the tree. Then they would climb the tree during the day, knocking the sparkly things off the tree. They'd even chew the pretty paper off the boxes under the tree.
The best part, Jake says, is that the night before Christmas Mommy and Daddy would turn all the lights off and sit with all of them and look at the tree - then Mommy and Daddy would give them new collars, nip toys and beds.
Well, we didn't get to help with any lights - they were already on there. We're hoping to climb it a bit, but so far Mommy has yelled at us - and even threatened to get out the squirt gun! That does not sound good.
We've had presents before, but never this tree. Even with all of Mommy's finger waggling - we're very excited!

Hurray! You have your very own tree now!
Yes, it is very exciting. Be glad you are allowed near it. Our tree is locked safely away from us because we love it too much. We got a supervised visit with it on Saturday, and hope to get more time this weekend. *paws crossed*
That is a very pretty and shiny tree. We have a tree too but it's the first year it ever came out of a box. Mommy says it artificial which means not real. Our other trees we think were real cause they smelled like outside!
Are there dangly things yet? If there are I'm coming right over. I LOVE stealing dangly things.

Your tree is beautiful. All those colored lights. We have one, too. I'm kinda used to having one every year so I don't pay much attention to it. But, I do sometimes like to walk on the branches and knock things off to play with. Other than that, I'm a very good girl. tee, hee, hee!
Hi, I'm Momo, a first time visitor to your blog. Nice meeting you all. You have apretty tree there. My SS gave up the idea of Christmas tree when I demolished one years back.

It's very beautiful~! Your beans are doing wonderful job~!
Your tree looks wonderful! :) Ours isn't up yet. My humans refuse to put it up before Advent starts, and since Advent began, my dad has been super busy with work. I had my first Christmas last year, and it was wonderful! :)
The idea behind putting the interesting cat toys near the top of the tree is so that you will climb the tree and get them off. I suggest you gets started now.
What a purrty tree. Momma put up about 8 small ones around the house. She even put up one of OUR table. The one we use to look outside everyday. So you know what we did? We jump up on it and lie under the tree. We mash down Momma's colorful material around the base of the tree. WE think she put that there for us. And I have seen Ping and Gracie try and eat the tree. Now neither Boo or myself would think to do such a thing, of course you know it makes Ping and Gracie yak.
*sigh
That's the way it goes around here.
