The last couple of days I've had a little sneeze - I tried to tell Mommy that I was just allergic to the dog, but she didn't buy it! So off we went to the V-E-T. Dr. R is very nice and told me how pretty I am (which is true) so I tried to be nice back, I was hoping if I was nice to him that he would let me go home - still no luck. Then they poked me in my spot 13 (which was ever so rude) and stole my blood. Then the very nice Dr. came back and said I was sick.
He sent me home with that horrid medicine and I have to take it for a week! And so far I've been good, but then I heard Mommy tell Daddy something about a parasite medicine that I'll have to start taking in a few days too - so I'll have to work out some type of escape plan (purrhaps I could hide at Dante's).
But enough of that! We also wanted to say thank you to our friends - because they gave another award!

First, sharpen your claws in case you are caught. Second, hide. If they try to get you out from your hiding spot, sprint to the nearest bed and get underneath in the middle. When they start to move the bed, move with it.
When sprinting away, be sure to go between and under things like chairs and coffee tables. This slows the beans down.
If caught and wrapped up like a burrito *shudder* twist your head around like the Exorcist and cock it so the liquid rolls across your tongue and onto your bean's hands.
After you've made them suffer enough. Be sure to take your meds. We want you to get well!!! Many healing purrs and prayers are coming your way.

I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. I didn't like going to my new vet yesterday, either. All she did was weigh and snuggle me, but still! I suggest finding a small dark place to hide - somewhere they didn't know you could fit - and don't come out when they call you. That should help you avoid the icky medicine.

Congratulations on your award, Pearl. I'm sorry that you are sick and have to take the icky medicine. It's OK to fight it, but make sure that you eventually take it, so you can get well all the sooner.
