but in battalions".

It has been a sad weekend around the blogosphere. Our friends are hurting, and we hurt for them. We are purring for Mom Laura, Lilly Lu, Mu Shue and Iris...
They are safe - make sure to visit the Cat Blogosphere for information on how to write a letter of thanks to the brave officers that rescued them!
And of course we are purring for Miral's family...
Remember
Remember me when I am gone away,When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go, yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

A real hard week for all of us in the blogging world of kitties and doggies. My heart is heavy for Miral and her family, we will all miss her. The fire at Laura's was terrible and those poor kitties must have been so afraid. The good news is that they have all been found safe and are with Laura now. So that is one great piece of good news!
We heard good news about Laura and her cats. They were rescued!
Thank you for your beautiful tribute to Miral! And we are very very happy that Lilly Lu and Mu Shue and Iris are safe!
Please be so kind to come by our blog, there is a party invitation and an award for you!
