Alright Kitties - we need to get going on the bidding for our auction! Right now we only have one bidder (the lovely Queen Snickers), but that's not enough to help all our friends!
Sanjee told us that the Meezers and Churchill both have PayPal donation accounts, so once the winner is announced we'll be able to get the green papers to them right away!
Also, Mommy is going to make something else to help out Pepper (here's her story, in case you haven't read it). We'll add the pictures on Monday, but it will be featuring kitties and woofies for all you households that have both!
Please make as many bids as much as you can, and have a wonderful weekend!

We Found A Way
We've been thinking and thinking about trying to find a way to help pitch in for Churchill and the Meezers. And we were having a really rough time trying to figure out what we three kitties could do.
Then when we saw what Dragonheart & Merlin's Mom was doing we got an idea! We talked it over with Mommy and she said she would help us. So we'd like to offer this...
Two custom chipboard mini-albums, kitty themed (of course)! They are each 12 pages (6 pages front and back) and measure about 6" wide. The colors are very complementary to almost any kitty's coat, so the winners will look fabulous! Mommy also said that if the bids go over $20 for each of them the winners can send their pictures to us digitally and she will print them and put them in the album (or she can just customize it with the winner's names if they prefer)!
If you'd like to see more detail, just click on the pictures. If you'd like to see some of the inner pages just email us at pbandjkittes AT gmail.com and we'll send you more!
We'll keep the bidding open until Saturday March 8th (a week from Saturday) - so please bid early and often! Mommy's not as savvy with the whole PayPal thing, so we'll have to do it the old-fashion way - just leave your bid in the comments section.
Good Luck!
Pearl, Bert and Jake
P.S. We didn't know it was Squillion Day! Here's our adopted Squillion "Samich":

Tortie Tuesday - My Application
This is my application to the Tough A** Tortie Association (I just hope that I am tough enough to be accepted!).
Most of you know my Gotcha Day story, so you already know that I was a bit picky and had to take a bit of time to decide to go home with my Mommy and Daddy (not everyone can handle torties you know!). But I finally decided that they could handle me and I went to my forever home. Here's what I looked like on my first night home:
I'll admit that it took me a bit of time, but I came out from behind the kitty tree and out of our room and then I was ruling the roost!
Here's me teaching Jake to be nice to me:
And then, when Bert showed up I had to do my best to keep him in his room as long as possible, so here I am keeping him in:
And I can also put the smack down on on George, only I can't find a picture! So I had Mommy take a movie!
So what do y'all think, am I tough enough?
-Pearl

Man Cat Adventure
It was such a busy Friday (and weekend) that I didn't have a chance to tell the story of my big adventure Thursday night (well, that and Mommy was kinda freaked out about it!).
Thursday night, after Mommy and Daddy went to bed Georgie kept whining and running around the sun room. They kept yelling at her to be quiet and go to bed - which she eventually did. But she kept doing that, all night long. So needless to say Mommy and Daddy didn't get much sleep.
Friday morning Mommy woke up and started rounding all of us up for breakfast. She got Bert up from his bed and said good morning to Pearl then she started looking for me (which is a bit strange because I usually have to wake her up). Mommy started looking downstairs and Daddy started looking under the bed (another favorite hiding place). Finally Mommy started to panic - then she heard Daddy holler "Oh Cr*p!" as he ran for the front door.
Daddy opened the front door and starts calling for me, and I came running across the yard from under the big pine tree next door. I was so happy to see that they had finally opened the door! George had been right all along, there was something trying to get into the house all night - me!
So Mommy and Daddy picked me up (and Mommy was crying a lot!) and checked to see if anything was cut or broken or frozen. Happily it had been a fairly mild night (only down into the 20s) and I found a good place to curl up under the tree that didn't have much snow. I did scratch my pads a bit, Mommy is guessing that I tried to paw the screen door too much, but that was it!
Then Mommy started getting mad at Daddy, asking him why he let me out without telling her about it. He said that he had opened the basement door for a minute to check on a strange sound before he went to bed and that I must have gotten out without him seeing (which is a bit hard given the fact that I am 16 floofy pounds of kitty!). Since it's winter and we don't go out very much when it's so cold, Mommy didn't do a head count before bed - so no one but the dog realized that I was missing all night.
In the end everything was fine - Mommy called the V-E-T and they said just to keep an eye on my pads and also the tip of my tail and ears for any signs of frostbite (I had a little snow on my tail, but my ears were nice and warm when I came home). So I just ate a big breakfast (which was twice what I normally get since they both felt so bad) and went to sleep on the big bed, which is where I should have been all night long!
They keep giving me extra stinky goodness because they feel guilty - they don't know it, but I already have, of course it doesn't mean that I'm not going to take extra food!
- Jake
PS - Thank you all for such wonderful Birthday wishes - Bert and Mommy both had super days!

Big Weekend!
It's a big weekend around here, starting today!
Today is George Washington's birthday - and we love to celebrate it! Yep, that first president of ours was something special.
All right, not really, we love to celebrate Bert's birthday!!!! He's 2 today!!! So have a slice of Nip Birthday cake and a Niptini, maybe stay and play awhile!
So we'll be celebrating all Friday with him, but that doesn't really add up to a whole weekend - so we'll have to think about something else to celebrate...
The wonderful Miss Peach gave us this wonderful award!
We wanted to pass it on to the Cat Blogosphere, the Tuxedo Gang Hideout, the Gorgeous Gingers and the Coats of Many Colors (and the soon to be formed Tough A** Torties!) - all of the wonderful, supportive groups of the kitty blogging world that got us all started in the first place. We'd also like to pass it on to Captain Jack and Sir Dante (not just because Dante happens to be the most dashing Pirate Cat) - we started blogging about the same time, they were one of our first blogging friends and we've been "blogging buddies" ever since!
Ok - still not enough? How about the fact that it's our Mommy's birthday on Saturday - and she's gonna be...
Ok now kitties, we don't need to tell everyone how old I'm going to be.
All right we'll just say she hasn't hit the big 40 yet, but she keeps getting closer :-). Daddy is taking her out for an all day adventure, we're not sure what's going to happen, but they are both pretty excited about it.
Is that enough? That seems like a lot to celebrate, but we'll do our best!
Happy Weekend Everykitty!

ManCat Monday
It was a very ManCat-y weekend around here. Bert and I played "king of the living room" (you know, when one of us tries to chase the other out of the room!), we played in the toy basket and ran around the house - we thought it was shaping up to be a great weekend! But it got better - Mommy said that there were two packages that came on Friday (of course she didn't have time to help us open them until Sunday - sheesh!).
One was a valentine from Tazo for Bert and one was for me from my dear Queen Snickers! Tazo sent Bert this super nip sushi:
And Queen Snickers sent me a bag of salmon temptations (my FAVORITE!) and a super nip valentine heart - it said "Bite Me, Lick Me, Bunnykick Me" - and I did! Mommy couldn't get a very good picture of me with the heart, but as you can see, I helped myself to the temptations:
And of course, Pearl thought everything was for her! (Well, I am a princess and what's your's is mine and what's mine is mine - right?!)
And both presents came with lovely cards too - and the funny thing is that they are the same one :-) (see, both our girls have great taste!)
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Queen Snickers and Tazo!

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day EveryKitty (and woofie)! We're so excited for Valentine's Day! There's Dr. Tweety's Love Cuize (which is now going to be hosted over at the Cat Blogoshpere) and Momo is having a Valentine's party too!
Mommy and Daddy gave us a new nip soaked feather toy and some mouses - and there talk of a little steak later on tonight!
And of course we're so very thankful for our lovely Valentines: Dante, Queen Snickers and Tazo (here are our Valentines to them)! And they gave us valentines too (here and here)!
So we're off to spend the day with our Valentines - Jake is teleporting over to Queen Snickers to play with some feathers and nip; Pearl is going to bask in the sun with Dante on the decks of the Black Furball; and Bert is hoping that Tazo will come over to watch the birdies out the window (or maybe watch Daddy and the snow eating machine if it snows some more!).
Here are some wonderful gifts from the Love Cafe, please take a gift for yourself everykitty! We'll see you all on the cruise!

Woofie Wednesday
Hi everykitty (and woofie), it's me George! The kitties said I could take over the blog today for a woofie Wednesday! I'm so excited that I don't even know where to start! Oh, Bert says I should do a meme so you can all learn a bit more about me, and Java tagged us for a meme a couple of days ago - so that works well (hope you don't mind that I'm taking over the meme Java?!).
Here are the rules: You have to post who tagged you and link back to them and then to Petspix. Then you have to tag 3 other kitties, beans, woofies, or any other assorted animal. What three things would you do that you have never done before, if you knew you wouldn't get caught, get in trouble, or suffer any consequences?
1. I would run all around the house, get into all the trash cans, on to all the counters and generally tear apart the house to the best of my ability (since I'm still a bit destructive I'm only allowed in two rooms when Mommy and Daddy aren't home).
2. I would get out of the fenced in part of the yard and run all the way to the river and back - and over on the neighbors lawn and sniff the bushes where the wood chucks live and I would find the bunny that taunts me - and wreak havoc on all the woodland creatures that live by our house!
3. I would chew and eat and chew and eat - whatever I could get my mouth on, even if it wasn't food. I love to chew anything or eat anything!
Boy, just thinking about it sounds like fun...
I don't have a lot of blogging friends yet, but I'd like to tag:
Asta
Princess Pearl (nope, not my sister - there's another one!)
and Vincent & Mike (cause Mike is a girl with a boy's name like me!)
Thanks kitties - see you next week!

A Nice Way to Start the Week
We think getting an award is a great way to start the week!
The Furry Kids (and the very Sweet Tazo) gave us this award, because (even though we don't always like our sister George) we are a friend to woofies!
This award was started by Chance's woofie brother Shadow, and we think it's great! Here are the rules:
"Here are the rules: Give this award to at least one blogger who has a woofie as a friend. If they let a woofie blog sometimes, posts information on woofie safety, or just love to cuddle with a woofie of their own, then send this award to them. Make sure you leave a comment on their blog letting them know you are giving them this award and don't forget to link back to the person who gave it to you."
We'd like to pass this award on to Kodak, Winston and 3 Perf - cause they're just like us, 3 kitties and a woofie! And also Tybalt, Holly and Ivy and their woofie siblings!
-Pearl, Bert and Jake

Thinking on Thursday
Yeah, we're thinking that woofies are nuts!
No really, that's our crazy dog George, out in the snow having a great time!
Shadow's new award got us thinking that George really does do some funny things (besides just cuddling with me), so for now here's a funny picture of her and maybe, just maybe, we'll let her blog every once and a while!
