Thoughts on Thursday

Well, maybe not a thought as much as a concern. Mommy's a bit worried about my rear end. Ever since they got home from their trip to Catifornia she noticed that I'm missing furs on half my tummy and tocks. Now I'm not too worried about it, but Mommy is a bit concerned that it's not growing back, but it's not getting worse.

I'm furry embarrassed about this (Tazo, please avert your eyes) but here's my tummy:

Does any kitty (or kitty Mommy or Daddy) have any advice to get me to quit? Mommy's worrying is starting to make me a bit worried.

Also, it's been super crazy cold here in the Mitten State (in the single digits and in the minuses with wind chill). Would you all mind taking a minute to purr for all the homeless puppies and kitties out there? We're very furry worried for them all.

Thanks,
Bert

I'm Snow Tough!

I don't mean to say that Jake is a weenie (ok, yeah I do :-), but he won't go out in the snow! Mommy says Bert and I are thick-blooded Michigan cats, so we don't mind it. And Daddy says that Mommy and Jake are thin-blooded Californians, so they don't like the snow.

Daddy was super impressed that both Bert and I would go through the deep snow. And he loved the way that I walked right in Bert's footsteps so that I wouldn't get my feet too snowy (I say I'm not just a tough a** tortie, I'm a smart one too!).
