Tattle Tail Tuesday

Now normally we don't like to tattle on Mommy and Daddy too much, after all they are the providers of stinky goodness, openers of door and laps to nap in. But then this happened - the winds were soooooo crazy this morning that the tree BROKE!

Oh sure, you're thinking how could a Bean do this? Well, trust me - it's their fault. Mommy showed Daddy the crack in the tree months ago, and all summer long they have been looking at the crack thinking that they should do something about it, but they never did. If only they had got the tree trimming guy out, maybe my tree wouldn't be so broken.

Now it may not look too bad in that picture, but get a load of this...

And poor Georgie - the darn tree took out her fence and now she can't run around and play by herself.

Of course the worst news for me is that half of a really great climbing tree is gone and Daddy said that he may have to take down the whole tree! And if they take down the whole tree what are Bert and I supposed to chase around and around and around before we head off into the bramble? And none of us are allowed out until it's all cleaned up.

There is some good news, no Bean or Kitty or Pup was hurt, nor (we think) were any of our bird or squirrel friends. And even though the fence is really broken and there are a bunch of other broken trees, there's no damage to the house.

Whew, it's already a crazy week and Mommy and Daddy still aren't packed or ready to go to Catifornia!

And I bet they have not been heeding your warnings all year long either. Hmph! That'll teach them! Do trees have their own rainbow bridges?

We hadda tree fall (from our neighbor's yard no less) into ours...well not once but twice. This last one was a tall pine tree. It missed our house but made a huge mess...and this year we also lost our willow tree. He was very tall and it made another huge mess. WE are glad that no one was injured and that your home was not damaged...and we will miss you while your Mom and Dad are gone...do we hear a house trashin coming on?

We're furry happy that no one was hurted when the tree fell down! Your Ma & Pop will have to plant a new one so you still have somewhere to climb when you're romping. Looks like there's LOTS of room there for trees.

Oh noes! I'm sorry both the tree and the fence got broked. Once it got really windy where I live and two trees fell down.

Boy that's pretty scary! You're very lucky it didn't hit the house. A fence can be fixed, but the house would have been very very bad. Hopefully your Dad can salvage some of the tree for good climbing (or make a fort for you guys out of the broker pieces).

Its too bad the tree broke the fence an ya cant go out. We had the whole top half of a REALLY BIG TREE fall off in January. But since it fell entirely in the yard, we got ta play on it fer months until he had it removed!

Hi,
Our neighbors big willow tree broke like that and took our garden fence down. It was a big mess, but dad got the fence fixed pretty quick.

Are they packing what's left of the tree to take to CA with them? It would make a nice present to someone who needs one. :)

Hope your mom and dad have a wonderful trip and you guys have a happy Christmas.
