Oh Man!

I had to go to the V-E-T yesterday! Who would have thought? Mommy wasn't home, so how was I supposed to know that Daddy was going to swoop in and grab me and take me off to the V-E-T!?

That big old mean V-E-T said that I was completely healthy and a big strong ManCat. And I made sure to show him by peeing all over them!!! Bwahahahahaha! And then, just to make sure that they got the message I pooped all over the floor and my carrier (Daddy wasn't too thrilled about that part). But at least the nice helper lady cleaned me up and told me how brave I was so I felt better.

Oh, and you shoulda have seen the look on my face when my Mommy got home. Boy did I give her the stink eye! In fact, it was such a fearsome gaze that I broke the camera (Mommy here, there does seem to be a problem with the card, I expect the camera will be fine with a new card - but it was a chilling gaze).

..... And We're Back!

Seems only fitting that we should come back with Tuxie Tuesday, right? I mean, am I right?!

Well, especially since the only thing that got Mommy to finally help us was the realization that my 3rd Gotcha Day is coming up on Thursday. That's right, she almost forgot!!! But is seemed as good an excuse as we were likely to get for getting back to blogging. We've really missed you all and we're excited to get back to visiting and catching up with all of our friends.

So here's a quick run down of all the things that have been happening here:
- We've been given a couple of awards (we'll work on getting those re-distributed).
- Mommy and Daddy have mostly gotten the house back together since the second basement flood (though not all the way).
- It's been snowing, raining and generally yucky weather around here, which makes for good snuggling but lots of crazy kitties with cabin fever.
- We've gotten a bunch of cool packages from friends and we've sent some good ones too.
- Mommy got a wii fit, and so has been generally ignoring us daily.
- Daddy got a new job, which is exciting but it means that he's gone more than he used to be, so it's a bit of a bummer for us (even though Mommy and Daddy are pretty happy about that).
- Mommy is going to be walking in the Race for the Cure at the end of May, and she and George have been practicing (of course please feel free to donate to the cause as well).
- Mommy abandoned us for Easter weekend, she left to visit some friends in Washington DC, she had a lot of fun but we sure did miss her (not to mention that we didn't get a very yummy Easter dinner).

I'm sure there's more, but that will do for now! And don't worry, we'll be back :-)

Mommy stole my sleeping basket! That darn V-E-T told Mommy to wash all our beds (just in case my fuzz issues are an allergy to something) and so she took my basket away to clean all the blankies I had in there. So I had to sleep on this mat on top of my cupboard - not nearly as comfy as my basket!

I tell you kitties, Mommy is really pushing her luck this week!

She said she was "cleaning" but I think she's making a bigger mess than she started with. Then she had the nerve to tell me that I wasn't helping very much, so I decided to get right in the middle of everything and really do a good job of snoopervising! And can I just tell you that in all these pictures, there are barely any of me (Mommy says that it's because they're all still in the computer) - that just isn't right!

So I found a cool new spot to hang out - especially when there's a fire to warm up to. There's lots of good sniffs from the wood pile, the bag is pretty cozy, and it's close to the fire which is the best part. Tazo, I think there may be room enough for two here!

It's TUXIE Tuesday

My Daddy is soooooo silly - he doesn't realize that I'm a tuxedo kitty!


Yesterday as I ran out the door Daddy said "have a good time out there little house panther"! Apparently Daddy doesn't realize that House Panthers are all black - and I reminded him that I'm a tuxedo cat.

So then he said "all right then, have a good time mostly black cat"! Jeesh, Daddy really doesn't know anything - I'm not a Hottie! Not that I wouldn't want to be one :-)

I guess I'm gonna have to sit him down and 'splain all this stuff to him!

Oh, and we'd like to take a moment and say thank you - thank you to all our Veterans and everything that they have done for our country and others. Yep, a special thanks to all the men in green, from every nation!

The most pawesomest LadyCat on the planet sent me a present! My sweet little teacup Tazo sent me a wonderful package of treats and toys and - this part is the best - a picture of her!!!!


Jake tried to steal every thing, but I whapped him and then Mommy moved everything so that I could enjoy all my presents all to my self!


Oh and the treats, the treats - they are amazing! They are the Wysong Dream Treats and if you haven't tried them they are pawesome! We all loved them. Mrs. Tazo's Mommy, you are the greatest!

Go Bert Go!

We love our yard, and we love all the edible fuzzy creatures that live in it. At this time of year all the little snacks creatures are coming out of their burrows to eat and play and enjoy the spring. And that means there's lots of things to chase:



Sadly, Mommy thought I was done chasing so she turned off the video - even sadder still (for me anyway) I did not manage to catch that squirrel (though I'm sure he's quite pleased about it)!

Most of my toe pads are black (which is kind of funny considering that the tops of my toes are white), but these two are pink! Mommy always says it looks like I walked over an ink pad.
